Editorial Standards
The principles that guide Afrivanta's journalism: accuracy, independence, fairness and transparency.
Accuracy
Our standards call for checking information, attributing claims to sources and correcting factual errors. Send correction requests to news@afrivanta.net with the article link and supporting details.
Independence
Reporting should be guided by accuracy and public interest, with relevant conflicts of interest disclosed and paid material clearly distinguished from editorial coverage.
Fairness
Coverage should represent relevant perspectives fairly and distinguish verified facts from allegations and opinion.
Transparency
Analysis and opinion should be identified as such. Sources and material corrections should be clear to readers.
